Decoding Batch Numbers for MAC, Lancome, Dior, Clinique, etc

For Estee Lauder Products (MAC, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Origins, La Mer): The first character represents the production batch run that month. The second character indicates the actual month. The third character indicates the year. 1=Jan, 2= Feb, 3=Mar, 4=Apr, 5=May, 6=Jun, 7=Jul, 8=Aug, 9=Sept, A=Oct., B=Nov, C=Dec So for my MAC lipstick that is marked A87 it means my lipstick was manufactured in the first batch in August of 2007.
